People often see me as a world champion surfer, married to a rock star, living the dream life. These are real facts, but what you may not know or may not see is the path I have travelled to leave a legacy I am proud of.

The years of training, focus, dedication and commitment.The moments of challenge, heartbreak, loss and despair. Times of triumph, tragedy and transformation. In order to reinvent myself I have to awaken, evolve and expand my consciousness.

This one-day workshop- EVOLVE- will be packed with tips and tools to transform your life. Throughout the day, lessons will be shared that have taken me 30 years to master.

The most important step you must take to evolve and live a fulfilled life is to identify what is most meaningful to you. Our values govern our behaviours, acting as an internal compass, guiding us towards people, activities or places that fulfill us. Discovering our highest values assists us to achieve our goals and awaken the leader within.

Sometimes our obstacles are due to actual experiences, other times they are simply thoughts and emotions triggered by circumstances. We will learn many different strategies to cope and grow so we can move on and overcome life’s challenges.

Limitations appear in a variety of forms, mostly through our language and our internal dialogue. Learn to silence the inner critic and give voice to the champion within simply by shining a light on the subtleties of our language and learning a new discourse.

Uncertainty about the future creates feelings of discomfort and anxiety. Crafting a clearly articulated vision provides a clear sense of direction, bringing people together and increases resilience.

This world is currently experiencing an empathy deficit, yet Empathy is a quality integral to most people’s lives, especially leaders. Learning to listen, increasing curiosity and giving people your full attention are traits we can all learn and apply to our day to day lives.

Workshop Details

Evolve is a full day workshop designed to awaken your spirit, expand your consciousness and transform your life.

Drawing on 30 years of personal experience combined with current scientific research, you will learn how to enhance your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Attaining clarity, shining a light on our challenges and developing empathy increases our confidence and capacity to live a life we truly love.

The topics of discussion will include; increasing our physical and mental energy, discovering our personal values, overcoming obstacles, kicking personal limitations to the curb, crafting a clear vision and developing empathy.

Who is this workshop for?

The purpose of this event is to educate, inspire and empower you to live your life by design, not by default. If you are ready to embrace a new mindset with the intent to transform any area of your life, this workshop is not to be missed.

This is a personal and professional growth experience for individuals ready to live through their heart and leave a legacy they are proud of.

Guest Speakers

Julie Trell

Julie is the Head (and Human API) of Telstra’s startup accelerator, muru-D.

Julie was a founding member and Vice President of All Things Fun, Meaningful & Rewarding at Salesforce.com Foundation for a large part of her career, bringing fun and measurable community impact to the company and employees.

Julie has been an advisor of startups from San Francisco to London, she’s helped companies integrate meaningful philanthropy programs into their businesses and was instrumental in launching SheEO Radical Generosity (a global initiative to transform how we support, finance and celebrate female entrepreneurs) in the USA and Australia.
When not working, you can find her at the beach, probably attempting a yoga pose with a camera in her hand or hugging a random wild Australian animal.

Eliza Giles

Eliza has spent over a decade studying with modern and traditional masters across the globe. As a young teenager she was introduced to yoga and at 17 she moved to India to be immersed in the sacred traditions and eastern teachings still alive within the culture there.
At 20 she began her training in the traditional sciences of the yoga systems, moving to live and study in the Omkaranada Ashram in Northern India where she completing her first training in Meditation, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga.
She has since trained meditation and yoga with masters and senior teachers across world holding influences from the traditional teaching of Yoga Rupa Rod Stryker, contemporary yoga pioneer Duncan Peak, Blissology founder Eion Finn and Dr Lorin Roche.

Bec Rowe

Bec Rowe is the Founder of Groundwork. She is also a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor, Meditation Teacher and Nutritionist with a voracious passion for optimising people.

Spending the first 8 years of her career in Melbourne and Sydney’s top Sports Medicine clinics she learnt the importance of science-backed health for performance.

For the last 3 years she has taken that knowledge and moulded it into fun wellbeing programs for Australia’s top corporate executives including CBA, Westpac and Ernst & Young. In her spare time she loves writing, reading philosophy and spending time in nature
